The California National Guard Financial Assistance Fund (CNGFAF) was established to provide short term, financial assistance in the form of grants to California National Guard members and/or families impacted by deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom or Operation Enduring Freedom, who meet criteria listed below. |

Eligibility Criteria: |
| |
|
Members of the California National Guard may be eligible for financial aid based on the following criteria.
- Current or former member of the California National Guard in good standing
- The CNG member was, or currently is on federal military active duty in connection with Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) or Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) since September 11, 2001
- CNG member or family member has an unmet need as defined in the CNGFAF SOP.

First - The California National Guard Financial Assistance Fund was created from a donation in conjunction the California Community Foundation. Second - Donations sent directly to us from individuals, organizations or businesses are gladly accepted. |
