California Military Family Relief Fund 

 

Objectives:

 

The California Military Family Relief Fund (CMFRF) was established to provide short term, financial assistance in the form of grants to California National Guard members and/or families impacted by mobilization and deployment who meet criteria listed below. 

 

Eligibility Criteria:

 

Members of the California National Guard may be eligible for financial aid based on the following criteria.

  • Current member of the California National Guard in good standing
  • Current California resident
  • Deployment to active duty for at least 60 consecutive days in Title 10 USC status
  • Member’s military salary has decreased by 10 percent or household income of member's family has decreased by at least 10 percent from income prior to deployment.
 

Donations and Support:

 

The California Military Family Relief Fund receives it's funding in the following two ways.
First - The California State tax form, California Form 540 c1 has a contributions section at Step 10.  Block number 63 is for the California Military Family Relief Fund. This allow individuals to donate part of their refund to our program.
Second - Donations sent directly to us from individuals, organizations or businesses are gladly accepted.

Application
This application is in online fillable format.  It can be filled in, then emailed, printed and faxed or mailed. The original application with original signature must be mailed before finalizing application process.
