1. Purchase the appropriate CDFG license, tags, and stamps.
2. Submit an application for a permit (Permits are ONLY available for sale during hunting periods at the wildlife check station at Gate 3, located near the East Garrison exit from Highway 101). Do not send permit applications to Camp Roberts Environmental office.
3. Review Camp Roberts (see Camp Roberts regulations section), and CDFG (http://www.dfg.ca.gov) regulations.
4. Call the Hunting Taped Information Line at (805) 238-8167 as hunting may be closed on short notice due to military operations. Call ahead for possible changes. Unless indicated, no reservations are required.
5. Registration (check-in) is mandatory each time you hunt – check into the Wildlife Check Station.
6. Checkout is mandatory at the end of your hunt trip, prior to leaving Camp Roberts.
