HHD JFHQ, Environmental Management Section, is seeking qualified individuals to fill vacant M-day positions.
LOCATION: JFHQ, 9800 Goethe Road, Sacramento, California
POSITIONS: Staff Environmental Officer, Staff Environmental NCO, (E-8, O-1 to O-4) are being considered. The positions are designated as branch immaterial.
DUTIES INCLUDE, but not limited to: Providing environmental awareness training, assisting unit commanders in compliance with environmental policies and regulations; conduct environmental audits of Army National Guard training sites and facilities and advising troop unit commanders on environmental issues affecting war fighting capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidates will have experience in Environmental Management. Candidates with backgrounds in maintenance, logistics, aviation, or engineering are encouraged to apply. Academic background in engineering, life science, physical science, or environmental science is desirable.
