Army Aviation Mission Support: 

Aircraft Flyover, Static Display, Aerial Demonstration Requests - The State Army Aviation Office accepts requests from civilian agencies and military organizations for the participation of military aircraft at public events in support of community relations programs.  Requests may be for the static display of aircraft, military aircraft flyover, aerial demonstration, or other request.  Requests for the Golden Knights Parachute Team are submitted directly to the Office of the Chief of Public Affairs.   

Operational Support Airlift Agency Operational Support Airlift Command - The OSAA/OSACOM mission is to provide high priority, short notice air transport to passengers and cargo movement for all Army components and members of DoD.  Operational airlift missions are requested through unit authorizing officials, passed to the State Airlift Coordinator for validation and approval, then forwarded to OSAA.  After requests are checked and screened at OSAA, they are electronically forwarded to DoD’s Joint Operational Support Airlift Center (JOSAC) at Scott AFB IL. The JOSAC centrally schedules Operational Support Airlift (OSA) requests then assigns these as missions to separate DoD services for execution. 

Detachment 32 Operational Support Airlift is the California Army National Guard's State Flight Detachment. The detachment operates a single C-12 aircraft from Mather Field near Sacramento, California. Detachment 1, Co I, 185th Aviation - The C-23B Sherpa aircraft is a light military transport aircraft, designed to operate efficiently in a wide range of mission configurations. The large square-section hold, with excellent access at both ends, offers ready flexibility to perform cargo movement, troop transport, airborne/airdrop missions, and, with litters installed, medical evacuation.

Rotary Wing Aircraft Support -
Helicopter mission support may be requested through the State Army Aviation Office by submitting the the following Military Air Passenger or Cargo Request.
