Warrant Officer Ron Wolcott is Commander and Conductor of the 59^th Army Band, “Governors Own”- located in Sacramento, California. He is a 20 year Army Veteran, serving three years with the 6th Army Band, Presidio San Francisco, and 17 years with the 59th Army Band as tenor trombonist, bass trombonist, assistant drum major, assistant conductor, and section leader.  Warrant Officer Wolcott has a Master's Degree in composition and arranging from CSU Chico and freelances with the Paradise Symphony and the Paradise Brass Quintet.  He currently resides in Oroville, California with his wife Kristi, where he is the instrumental music director for the Oroville Elementary School District.  Wolcott has been the commander of the 59th Army Band since April of 2007.
